Wild elephant™ Racing starts the 2020 IMSA Lamborghini Super Trofeo North American Series with a 1st Place Win in their first race of the season at Road America. Driver-Owner Ron Atapattu and new co-driver, Brazilian, Leo Lamelas are set to run a successful season in the Pro-Am class.
Owned by Miami Business Executive, Ron Atapattu, Wild elephant Racing is the latest incarnation of Ron’s successful 20 year career as a professional race car driver, competing in the world’s major motorsports sanctioning organizations.
In 2019, Ron and his Wild elephant™ Racing Team campaigned a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo in the 12 race North America Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series. The team garnered 6 podium finishes and ended their successful season, 3rd Place overall in the IMSA, North America Super Trofeo standings.
